Application: for making the starting angle bead in the assembly of thermal insulation cladding.

Functional properties:

– Eliminating the thermal bridge created by the aluminium profile

Assembly: The BP27 starter strip with mesh should be mounted on the wall of the building (PHOTO 1) where you want to start assembly of the thermal cladding. The BP27 strip is intended for use in all commercially available styrofoam and wool thicknesses. Assembly is done by fixing the strip to the wall using adhesive and expansion bolts. The strip should be levelled. Next, wrap the fibreglass mesh of the BP27 strip around the sheet of styrofoam or wool with glue applied from the bottom. The BP27 strip additionally requires the use of the PCV dripnose bead with mesh (BP14 ECO PLUS, BP14 PLUS N, BP14 LUX, BP14 LUX N) which should be installed in accordance with the installation instructions of the dripnose bead, remembering that both the installation of the starter strip, the dripnose bead and the „overlapping” with the mesh should be done in the same gluing operation.
