Application: for making stabilising joints between groove beads and between groove beads and groove bead connectors (BP11 K WEW, BP11 K ZEW) as well as between groove beads and cross connectors. 

Functional properties:

– Permanently joins groove beads together, corner profiles with groove beads and cross connectors with groove beads

– Improves the visual effect of the connection

– Stabilises the connection during assembly and placement

Assembly: Longitudinal PVC groove connectors are available in three sizes adequate to the dimensions of the groove bead: 20 mm, 30 mm and 50 mm. Connectors are equipped with a special non-absorbent white foam adhesive and absorbent black seals. Assembly is done by removing the yellow foil cover (PHOTO 1) and gluing half the length of the groove bead connector or the groove corner profile or the cross connector (PHOTO 2). The result is a precise and secure connection (PHOTO 3).

Connectors play a stabilising role during the assembly of beads and other elements, they also allow very precise butt connections of a groove bead with a cross connector, a groove connector or a groove bead with another groove bead.

Connectors are most useful in the insulation façade with the use of mineral wool.

A longitudinal connector should be mounted on the adhesive for embedding the glass mesh. The adhesive must be located under both the bottom of the connector and under the side walls of the connector.
