The “J” strips are especially used in the site of connection between drywall and the window frame. The “J” strip masks on the one hand uneven edge of the strip, on the other hand it plays the role of expansion joint. Mounting consists in cutting off (with sharp knife, saw) the appropriate length of the “J” strip and tucking drywall inside the strip. The „J” strip may be left without painting or can be painted e.g. with typical acrylic paint for interiors application.
