Application: BP2 ALU aluminium corner bead is a traditional perforated straight corner bead for finishing plasterboard corners. The special shape with a „hunch” – which leaves space for putty – allows for spreading the putty in such a way that there is no layer of putty on the corner of the BP2 ALU corner bead, which guarantees no spatter of putty.

Our offer includes a corner bead made of aluminium sheet with thickness of 0.4mm. Such thickness guarantees maintaining the technical characteristics of the profile for many years and significantly improves the resistance of the corner bead to dents.

Assembly: Upon completion of the installation of plasterboard, finishing work may begin. It consists of finishing corners and connections between the plasterboards.

BP2 ALU straight corner bead is glued onto the corner previously filling it with putty using an appropriate spatula. The putty should „pass” through the holes located on the sides of the corner bead. Then the still wet putty is straightened flush with the edge of the corner bead, which has a shape allowing for leaving space for putty.

A straight corner bead can be cut to size with sheet metal shears.
